Short stack: your fold equity is the asset, and the players covering you are trying to survive too — attack the medium stacks, avoid the shortest one at your table. Medium stack: the most misplayed position in poker; you have the most to lose and you should be the one folding, not the shortest player. Big stack: you are being paid to apply pressure, and every marginal fold you win is free. This piece gives concrete opening and calling ranges for each, and the three spots where the bubble plan overrides everything else.
